Greetings, fellow photography enthusiasts and cherished clients,
As a West Midlands-based photographer, I find immense joy and inspiration in continually honing my skills and seeking out unique opportunities for personal and professional growth. One such avenue is attending workshops, where studio owners organise sessions bringing models and photographers together. Recently, I had the pleasure of participating in an extraordinary workshop arranged by a Birmingham-based photographer David Rann whom I hold in high esteem, and who, I am proud to say, has become a dear friend.
The theme of the day was as enchanting as it was challenging – a fallen angel. The ethereal concept promised to push the boundaries of creativity, and I was eager to delve into the world of fantasy and capture a vision that transcended the ordinary.
The beautiful and talented Katy graced us as the model of the day, embodying the delicate balance between the celestial and the earthly. Her poise and grace made her the perfect canvas for our collective artistic expression.
For me, photography is not just about capturing a moment; it's about storytelling and conveying emotions. As I embarked on the editing process for the images captured during this workshop, I felt compelled to infuse a biblical aura into the final product. Textured overlays and additions, such as subtle lightening, were meticulously applied to evoke a sense of divine presence.
